I expected Hershey to tear down Hersheypark Arena in the next few years and was shocked when they didn't. I thought that they could expand the park and sort of wanted them to. Until last Saturday that is. After the winter classic my friend and I found ourselves wondering around the parking lot not yet ready to go home. Anyway for reasons even I don't know we ended up wondering up to the old arena. After a while we saw a family go inside and decided to follow them. Expecting to see ice skateing or something, I thought we'll just go in and take a quick peek. I was happy to see that a college hockey game was underway. Anyway we stayed until the end of the game, using half time to explore the lower level. The experence of a game at Hersheypark Arena can not be matched, in fact I'm not sure if I don't lake if better than one at Giant Center. Best of all is that because the first period was over the guy let us in for free! Anyway next weekend I plan to see a game at both arenas and decide once and for all which is better!
